A flashing red light on your Beats Studio Buds charging case may indicate a charging or battery-related issue, but it doesn't necessarily mean the case or earbuds are defective.

I suggest trying the following:

  1. Check the charging cable and power source. Try a different USB-C cable and a known-working USB power adapter. Allow the case to charge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Inspect the charging port. Check the USB-C port for any visible debris or damage. If necessary, carefully remove loose debris using a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush.
  3. Reset your Beats Studio Buds. Place both earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open. Press and hold the system button on the case for approximately 15 seconds, or until the indicator light flashes red and white. Release the button and check whether charging resumes.

You can also refer to Apple's instructions: Reset your Beats earbuds.

If the issue continues, could you clarify whether the red light flashes only when the charging cable is connected, or whether it also flashes when the case is disconnected? Also, are both earbuds failing to charge, or is the charging case itself not holding a charge?
