Screen Time Settings Changed By Itself

I put child screen time settings age app limits for 13+ on an iPad. That iPad got a notification at 1:28am saying it had been changed to 9+. I did not change anything. I know it has happened to other iPads.

Why? How can I prevent this in the future.

Probably your child hacked Screen Time settings, possibly by watching you enter the password, or you used their Apple ID, which they know, as the backup ID when setting up screen time.

I am 200% sure it was not them as it happened to other iPads (that were not even mine) too.
