How to delete a page in Pages

It depends if it is a word-processing layout, or page layout document and if you started with either of these blank templates that I have annotated for usage clarity:

Individual pages cannot be removed from a word-processing document by right-clicking on a thumbnail. In a Page layout document, every icon is a section and a page, so one can remove that thumbnail.

In a word-processing document, you will have to do extra work to remove a page.

1. View menu > Show Invisibles (so you can see the page break symbol)
2. If the Page has content, you will need to select that entire content and backspace to remove it. Then enter another backspace to remove the page break.
3. If you want to remove a blank page, place your cursor at the very beginning of that page and back space to remove the page break.
