Some downloaded songs and albums are not playing on Apple Music

Some of my albums and songs on others are shown but wont play. They were albums downloaded in the past from CD's. I have just renewed my subscription. Will I ever be able to play them. All syncs buttons are in order.

On your Mac, try this before changing any sync settings:

In Music, go to Songs and choose View -> Show View Options.
Enable Cloud Status and Cloud Download.
Check the status beside a song that won't play:

- Exclamation mark: Music can't find the original file. Click it and choose Locate.
- Waiting: The track hasn't finished syncing. Choose File ->Library -> Update Cloud Library.
- No Longer Available: That version has been removed from the Apple Music catalogue. If it is your CD import, check that the original file still exists on your Mac.

Select a problem song and choose Song -> Get Info -> File to check its file location.

Important: Back up your Music library and original files before deleting songs or turning Sync Library off.
