How to stop Notes on macOS from randomly coloring words yellow?

MacOS 27.2 Notes is randomly coloring some words yellow. How do I stop it?

This is normal Body text. Not a link.

This seems similar to a really old yellow highlighting problem.

Example:

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 27.2

This is the Math Results functionality that a few apps support, in particular the Notes app: Solve math in Notes on Mac - Apple Support.

As the article indicates, you can format the text to turn off Math Results for specific text entries. (In general using an "=" sign will trigger the Math Results functionality and turn the text yellow.)

You can also turn it off system-wide in System Settings > Screen Time Content & Privacy > Intelligence & Siri. (I'm still on macOS Sequoia. The path might be slightly different in macOS Golden Gate.)
