iPadOS 27.2: Siri icon interferes with Apple Notes lasso tool
iPadOS 27.2: New Siri feature interfering with Apple Notes lasso tool. Any solutions?
Since updating to iPadOS 27.2, I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with Apple Notes when editing handwritten content using Apple Pencil. Whenever I select handwriting using the lasso tool, the newly introduced Siri icon appears above the selection and seems to interfere with the existing editing controls.
As a result:
- Tapping the traditional editing options, including Delete, causes the selection to disappear instead of performing the action.
- Attempting to move selected handwriting also deselects it.
- Scratch to Delete is similarly affected.
Has anyone else experienced this since iPadOS 27.2 and is there a workaround?
