External drive contents not showing
Hi, I have an external SSD, that shows when I connect it to my MAC Mini, but it doesn't show the contents. The drive contains JPGs. Can anyone advise why this might be the case?

I have very rarely, about two times ever, seen this issue and it was fixed by a reboot.
If not, what format does the drive have (APFS, NTFS, exFAT etc)??
Any 3rd party disk utilities that might now be incompatible (Samsung Magician etc)?? Usually those are not needed and (unless needed for NTFS) might explain the issue.
Show where?
have you attempted to start finger and choose the external volume and navigate to the dir with the jpgs?
Hi, they don't show in Finder. I see the drive on the sidebar, but no contents show.
maybe the drive is not in a file format macOS supports by default
