Apple media and purchases account got disabled for no reason

I literally just tried to download an app today, and I got a popup showing that my account was disabled

No email was sent to me, nothing at all, it just showed a “continue” button which I clicked

it carried me to a support page and asked me what I wanted to do before I saw the disabled message

i said I wanted to download / update an app

i Submitted then it said that my account is not eligible for reactivation. No mention of what I did, just leaving me in the dark with no way to update my apps or download new ones

Ive had this account for 5 years and I’ve never had an issue like this

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 26

One reason that your account will be disabled for purchases is if you have a Pending charge that has not been paid. You can check if that is the case by viewing your Purchase History using the steps under See your purchase history on your device in this Support Article. You may need to adjust the filter to view all transactions, as in the example screenshot on this page it shows "Last 90 days" and "Paid" transactions.

I cannot do this because my account is disabled

I can’t do anything, can’t change my payment information, can’t check history, nothing

I’m sooo sure I don’t have pending payments. but even if I did why didn’t I receive an email, if my card is refusing to be charged , why would they disable my account thus preventing me from even updating to another payment information
