If you mean is a third party VPN included, no and for good reason.
You can use iCloud Private Relay that is an Apple service available with any iCloud subscription that works similarly to a third party VPN without the disadvantage of exposing your communications to that VPN provider.

If your interest is in private web browsing, then use Safari with the protections built in.
Legal - Safari & Privacy- Apple

Apps have long used end-to-end encrypted connections known variously as SSL or TLS, which encrypt the network traffic against eavesdropping and spoofing. It’s quite rare to see anything not using end-to-end SSL/TLS connections these days.
Yes, macOS also includes a VPN client: Set up a VPN connection on Mac - Apple Support
It would be best to ask the IT group of the associated organization for assistance with setting up the VPN, unless you want to install and run your own VPN server, and want or need to learn about that, too.
macOS also includes Private Relay with an iCloud+ subscription, which operates as a two-hop Tor or I2P network connection, masking connection destination from source, and connection source from destination. Private Relay also includes ODoH for protecting DNS traffic.
There are software-defined networking (SDN) options available, as well. These include Tailscale and ZeroTier, among others.
But I’m assuming you are actually seeking to increase your connection overhead and reduce performance for negligible or negative benefits, and particularly want your metadata and data available for collection and quite possibly packaged for personally-identified marketing and resale, and you’ll need to add third-party VPN or third-party security apps for that purpose. This whole “pinky-promise” VPN app area is just all too filled with sketchy.

Do you use an add blocker extension on all your browsers...? Highly recommended.
Google Chrome is not advised if you do not want your internet/data scraped.
Targeted adds are not resolved with a generic VPN connection— if anything it is the opposite.

Too many of the available VPNs would be the exact opposite of what you are asking for here, then.
What to do?
Ad blocker. Wipr 2 app, or another add-blocking app, or set up PiHole at the network edge, among other choices.
iCloud+ Private Relay.
Avoid signing in, reduce installed third-party apps, avoid loyalty programs, never install coupon and discount apps, etc.
Privacy-focused browsers including Safari and LibreWolf.
Info still leaks:
that's a very long answer.
What are you asking this question?
what do you want from a VPN?
Looking to stop tracking of my searches as they end up generating way to many ads that interrupt what I am doing.
Thank you. Very helpful
