Podcasts download order and apple watch.

I have tried syncing and unsyncing my podcasts downloads. My problem and the MAJOR issue with podcasts is the download order. If you find a new podcast to listen to apple forces you to download the newest episode. Why?!?!?!? The podcasts has 492 (example) episodes and you just found it. Why cant we download 1-492? Why is it 492-1 and if a new one comes out it’s 493, 470-1.

I download the episodes in the correct order 1-492 at 3-4 a time and it stays fine on my watch for overnight to couple of days. So i have say 1-4 on my watch. Then I go to listen to it and they are either deleted or 492-485 are downloaded now.

Yes we can finally sort by oldest to newest again. That seems to come and go at a whim.

I’m probably too dumb and old to figure out how to setup the auto download in the correct counting up order and descending order.

In all my years I haven’t be able to figure this one out.

Help or someone actually programing this into the software would be GREATLY appreciated.
