Mail app displays old emails when opening new ones

Anyone else opening new emails in the mail app but the screen displays already opened emails. At first it was for a couple of seconds, now for longer.

iPhone 18 Pro, iOS 27

No. However, if you have email threading enabled if a new email is in the same thread other emails in the thread will be displayed.

Hey Law. No mate. Completely different companies. Completely different emails. Can be promotional emails. News articles. Replies from friends. When I press from the standby screen to open an email, it goes to an email from a while ago. Would only stay on it for a second before correcting itself. But now it’s staying on already opened one for a while before correcting itself.
