Switch control no longer works; being prompted with "active recipe doesn't support scanning"

My switch control recipe no longer works. I upgraded from an iphone 13 pro to an iphone 18 pro. My 13 had a custom gesture recipe under switch control I used to auto tap on my screen. After I transferred all my data from my 13 to my 18, this recipe stopped functioning. On my old phone when I would use switch control, there would be a permanent prompt saying "triple-click side button to exit" but I was able to use my recipe to auto tap as intended. Now on my iphone 18 when I try to launch the exact same recipe the message reads "Active recipe doesn't support scanning Triple-click side button to exit" and the switch control does not work at all. How do I get the scanning to work with my recipe?
