iPhone service issue

Is there a standard turn around time for iPhone service in India ?

I gave my iPhone 16 for service on 12-10-2026 for repair in Iplant Nagercoil . Service centre person said it will take 5 to 10 days depending upon whether it needs to be sent to Bengaluru for service. After a week I called them they said they don't have parts so there is going to be a delay I requested for backup mobile but they said they don't have any suck policy.

I called customer care they said that they can escalate only after 10 days and asked me to call back on 23rd oct , when I called back on 23rd they said standard turn around time is 18days and asked me to call on 30th I called them on 2nd of November now they are saying it's 18 working days .

Is iPhone service in India this bad or its only me .

This is inspite of having apple care protection. Don't know what is the point of apple care
