Photos app on tvOS 27.2 displays photos within albums in reverse date order

The Photos App for tvOS 27.2 is displaying the photos in every album in reverse date order. There seems to be no way to choose the order of photo display. So a slide-show always runs in reverse date order. This is just silly. My albums are for events, for example, holidays. Why would I want to view my holiday photos in reverse date order? This is unique to tvOS27. I also have a first-generation Apple TV 4k which is now capped at tvOS26.6. It displays photos in the correct order. Is there some hidden way to fix this, or is this a daft feature by design?
