iPad mini screen is black with horizontal lines

My iPad mini has had a broken screen for a while, and yesterday I lost it again. At first glance, after I picked it up from the floor, there was no problem, until a few minutes later, when I was working, I noticed that the screen went black and a flat horizontal bar at the top of the screen lit up, and with the pressure of my hand and the area I press, these lines appear at the top, middle, and bottom of the screen. Yesterday it didn't take long for it to be fixed again, even though I put the iPad on the table and was doing something else. But today, several hours have passed and I still haven't been able to see the screen.

What is the problem and how much does it cost to repair?

Your photograph shows considerable damage to the screen and the bezel. Given the degree of damage, iPad may consider the iPad to be beyond repair.

For eligible iPad models, you check verify the potential repair cost in your country/region here:

iPad Repair & Service - Apple Support

You can use Apple’s mail-in repair service, or you can arrange repair via the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP):

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

For practical purposes, in lieu of repairing and returning your own iPad, Apple often exchange a qualifying iPad for a renewed/refurbished iPad of the same model and specification. The cost of the exchange is the same as would otherwise be charged for repair. Unless you have benefit of an active AppleCare plan, an out-of-warranty repair/exchange will be expensive but somewhat less than the cost of a new iPad.

If you have an active AppleCare+ plan, the cost of repair is reduced to a small excess/deductible fee.
