How to recover missing calendar appointments on shared calendars in iOS?

I’m losing hours of my life trying to resolve this! Randomly calendar invites across a number of shared calendars have just disappeared. I’ve been through all of the fixes and syncs but nothing works. The issue maybe happened a few weeks ago and can’t tell if anything linked to the recent iOS update. Has this happened to anyone else?
