My iPhone 16 has started draining excessive mobile data even when connected to wifi. I have tried all the steps to minimise it (enabling Low Data mode, turning off Cellular Data, stopping background app refresh, etc.), but the problem persists. Is anyone else having the same issue? It only started in the last couple of months.

Wi-Fi Assist is on by default. This will automatically switch to Cellular Data if the device is not connected to the internet. About Wi-Fi Assist - Apple Support
What apps are listed as using the most cellular data? Follow this path, iPhone > Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > list apps a data amount used in current period.
