AirPods 5 connection issue with Find My

I recently purchased AirPods 5 and somehow I cannot connect it to my find my app. Tried forget device and everything but still failed.

For Find My, the AirPods need to be paired with your iPhone and Find My AirPods turned on. Go to Settings, tap your name, Find My, Find My iPhone, and make sure Find My network is on. Then open the case near the iPhone, pair them again and check the Devices tab in the Find My app. Make sure the iPhone is on the latest iOS too.

About AirPods and Find My:

If Find My was enabled with these, then note that the local shown is based off of the last time the device they were connected to that itself was connected to the Internet. So, pair it with an item to see them. This is because AirPods are not assigned their own IP Address.
