MacBook Air M4 motherboard fried shortly after warranty expiration
My macbook air m4 has gone unusable.
So, the story is that i have received this MacBook as a gift a year ago about in June or July, somewhere between that and now, a year after it worked flawlessly, and just in August, when my warranty expired after 30 or 15 days or so. My MacBook was unusable. Unusable, how that is as follows:
I didn't use my mac for about a week or so. And before a week like it was flawless, everything worked. But after a week, the Mac didn't itself. So I thought the battery was dead, so I plugged it in the charger. The magsafe didn't show the light red or green. Then, I searched online and came to a conclusion that it might be a Dead Battery issue. So I went to an Official nearby authorised store, known as iVenus. And there I like gave my MacBook for repair.
And they said that it would take about 1 or 2 days and after 1 or 2 days, I got the news that the motherboard is fried or logic boardis dead. And I don't know how it happened. The technician gave me a reason that it might be under constant charge. The other reason given to me was that this types of issue occur in few situations first constant charge, second water defect, third constant load. But as I said earlier, it was not used for a week so any of the reasons were not logical.
And keeping all that aside for a second MacBooks have a great better life. So I did not need to charge my MacBook for few days. I don't know how this happened. And this happened just after the warranty expired, so what should I do now? Because the technician gave me the cost of ₹60000 which is more than half the price of what I purchase it for. And it is now not in the condition where I can use it. And, I'm a college student and my vacations were on. So I didn't had to use it for a long time. So help me please guys any solutions.
