Touch ID and app settings reset after MacBook password reset

My password stopped working on my MacBookPro16,2 for some reason. I had to reset with my recovery key and it appears my fingerprint and touch ID settings were wiped. Also, my apps and accounts acted like I was starting a new session when I tried to use them.

Is this normal for MacBooks after resetting the password?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 26.7

setup anew your touchid etc...
