iTunes Ping.. No Facebook Connect link

Well not sure what the issue is. Maybe it's just the windows version of it.. But when looking for the Facebook connect button that should be appearing it isn't. The only way it's giving me to find people is through search or the recommendations. Even under the search box on the people page where it should say "You can also invite your friends from facebook or by email".. It just says 'by email'...

Only other thing I can think of it was maybe buggy as **** and they already released a new download/update with it removed for now? shrug Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I'm having the same issue. Don't have a clue why. I hope we will find a solution soon.

I'm having the same problem...I've heard that the massive interest in Ping overloaded the facebook API so they removed the button temporarily to avoid crashing facebook's servers...who know's if that reason is legit or not

Yeah, i'm having the same problem here... Strangely enough, when I signed up last night it was there in the privacy settings, and i managed to log in as well, but this morning it seems to have been completely removed..

I find it weird that something like this could even be close to crashing Facebook, but who knows...

(using the Mac version btw)

Having same problem, no Facebook connect. When setting up my profile I did see a Facebook & Twitter button somewhere, but for the life of me I can no longer find it.

Thats a big ditto on Mac OSX I know I saw it under "edit profile" at the bottom but couldn't find it this morning. Thought I was going crazy

If you go to an artist page, click on the drop down menu and there you can share the artist, album or song on Facebook and/or Twitter.

Another ditto from a Windows user in the UK. I have a funny feeling this whole "Ping" business may go the way of all things if they don't get some pretty deep Facebook integration going on soon.
