.mov to ipad

Hello,

I have some Quicktime (.mov) files I want to get onto my ipad for a road trip. Is there a way to do this natively, or do I have to buy a converter?

I might be mistaken but I think that handbrake does .mov files and can convert to h.264 or mp4 files for iPad.

Since these are Quicktime videos, convert them in iTunes.
