Turbo-Boost: How to find out about current processor sped?

On the new Mac Pros the processors can enter Turbo-Boost-mode. How can I find out at which speed the processors are currently running?

Hardware-Monitor -> System Information -> More Information.

On my 8-Core Nehalem 2.66 GHz it shows 4 kernels running at 3.07GHz and 4 at 2.93GHz. No idea how often that is updated or how accurate that is...

well all cores must run at the same frequency so somethings not being reported correctly.

It is complicated. Can happen in nanoseconds. And depends on processor and load as to how many cores will go to sleep and how many go into turbo... if the app is single threaded.

It is something you don't really need to know or worry about.
There are better tools for Windows to monitor core temp and frequency (and voltage).
