Q: FaceTime (after changing phone number)

Hi there,

I bought an iPhone 4 on launch day, used FaceTime and worked fine. However I have since changed my number with my mobile network, now people cannot FaceTime me.

If I FaceTime them though it shows up with my old number and if they then try to FaceTime my old number it works! Very confusing I know.

Is there a way I can get this so it knows to FaceTime my new number?

Thanks to DavebroWn288 it works only if u turn the iPhone off and turn it back on after step three. Otherwise as soon as the face time turned on same old number pops up .

In my facetime, a wrong phonenumber appeared. It 's my son's. I changed my Apple password, and then the wrong number disappeared.

Worked perfectly, I didn't do much, just facetime option switch off after 15 seconds switch on .. thats it .. thanks mamadawm51..
