My Itunes won't open since I updated it... No error messages appears and in the task manager, the process is running.. but nothing appears in Task Manager Applications! And, of course it never opens...
Someone else with the same problem found any solution?

After updating the iTunes refuses to open although it is visible in task manager. The "end process" doen't work either and the only way to kill it from task manager is to restart the computer. Sometimes I noticed that the internet is crushing too together with iTunes.
i'm in the same boat. I've uninstalled all apple software and now i can't install itunes. I've been able to re-install quicktime, but not itunes. Its quite frustrating!
My quicktime is working fine, and so is my internet.. my problem is only with Itunes 10.. I even tried to put the computer back when I haven't installed the update, but Itunes still wouldn't open it, this time cause the 'library was for a newer version of Itunes' or something like that...
I've managed to get iTunes working now with Bonjour stopped - but Apple TV won't connect / sync without Bonjour. I've tried to open the port (5353) but it seems to make no difference. Any ideas? We're halfway through a series of House so it's important!
Isn't this for Win 7? I use XP...
Well, I did manage to get back to Itunes 9.2 and recover my library, so I'm going to wait a while before trying Itunes 10 again...
Heres a particularly nasty little fix for XP users (I take no responsibility for what else this may break!), I went into the add/remove programs application and just unistalled/deleted Bonjour..
After a weekend of endless attempts and futile solutions,I so appreciate your posting this simple and to the point fix. I do hope that Apple posts a remedy to this compatibility issue soon though. Many, many thanks! CJ
