Navigon and in app purchases

Hi. I recently purchased the Navigon navigation app. I also purchased two in app features within Navigon. Last week, I had to exchange my phone due to a hardware issue. After restoring from backup on my new phone, I noticed that some of my in app purchases for Navigon had disappeared. It said that I had to purchase these features. Does anyone know how to get those features back?? I already bought them, and I would rather not spend $30 for these features again. Thanks in advance.

Do I have to repurchase my In App products after a new installation of MobileNavigator?
Yes, the In App purchases have to be restored to your iPhone but your iTunes Store knows automatically which products were bought before so the restoration is free of charge. To retrieve already purchased products, tap on the “Restore Purchases” button under “More” →“Extras”.

I did not have to pay again.

I don't know what version of Navigon that FAQ applies to, but there is no "Restore Purchases" button under "More" -> "Extra" in the U.S. East Coast version I bought. I'm assuming that you can "buy" the in-app purchases again and get them for free similar to normal apps, but I haven't seen anything that says one way or the other.

Thanks kultyper for your insights with Navigon customer support. I can independently confirm that the Navigon MobileNavigator app will restore in-app purchases that you have bought - you do have to press the Buy button again and type in your iTunes password. If you are on a new phone, it will require you to reconfirm iTunes purchase methods - on mine, it just lists the debit card that I already had; I just pressed OK to confirm. When you press buy in the in-app purchase item, the Navigon app tells you that you have purchased the item already.

I migrated from my iPhone 3G to iPhone 4, using the Navigon MobileNavigator Australia app.
