ITunes movie won't play back

Hi, I bought a movie last night via iTunes on my mac and copied it to my iPad (and TV)

Just tried to watch the movie on my iPad but I get a message saying the movie cannot be played. No explanation why?

Not at home right now to try the TV.

Any ideas (Ive tried a hard restart on the iPad but no joy)

iPhone4, iPad 64 3G, TV, 24"iMac, G3, G4 iMacs,, Mac OS X (10.6.4), GlasMUG, RIP David Law, 2  tattoo's

HI,

You're sure this is a purchased movie and not a rental?

According to page 59 if the iPad User Guide "Movies rented on iPad cannot be transferred to a computer."

if this is a purchased movie, if you have Parental Controls set up on your Mac, that could be a factor.

Try syncing again but be sure to use the IPAD cable with a 2.0 or better USB port.
And DO NOT use a USB HUB.

Sorry for taking so long to reply.

The problem was a user permissions file on my mac, we deleted it, restarted iTunes and reauthorised the mac.

Job done.
