External hard drive is unmounted

Question

External hard drive is unmounted

I cant find info on how to mount it back in. I dont know how it happened. I have plugged and unplugged power and FW cable but it doesnt show....

Hi, in Finder -> Preferences - check the Ext HD's Box -Show On Desktop.
Also Restart the computer with the EHD connected, you may need to Reformat the EHD..L

Not showing on Disk Utility

Finder Prefs had that option to show on Desktop checked.

Reformat, as in erase? Its full of backup info....
