iPod app disappeared

I'm experiencing the same problem. I upgraded to iTunes 10 and did the 4.01 update on my 3G and now, the ipod app is gone. Any ideas?

It cannot be deleted.

It is likely on another page or in a folder.

Have you done a search for it?

Same thing just happened to me! iPod app disappeared from the Dock, and now the only way for me to access it is by going into the Multi-tasking bar and scrolling to the left. The app isn't on any of my home pages, otherwise, I'd just drag it down to the Dock.

Just got off the phone with Apple, and they suggested doing a Restore when I get home tonight.

Before trying a restore, do this: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout...see if you see it now.
