Sep 19, 2010 6:06 AM in response to hippychickrnby Paddys43,_+*HELP!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!*+_
Hi again, this is becoming increasingly more and more frustrating as it would seem many more people are adding posts reporting this problem and yet there doesn't appear to be anything coming through in the way of a solution!
If there is anyone (inc Apple themselves) who can provide some steps on transfering music from the ipod onto a different pc to the one originally used then please forward it on, we can then all share it and live happily ever after...we are not looking to benefit in anyway at all, we simply want to ensure we don't lose the content we all have on our individual ipods.
I look forward to hearing from someone in the know very soon.
Kind regards,
Paddy.

Sep 20, 2010 5:33 PM in response to Gusterrby sidewalkchamp,About a week ago my laptop was stolen and, after replacing it, have since had problems syncing my iTunes library. The error code tells me my library is synced to another computer, a computer I no longer have access to. I know everyone has been asking this question, but I'm going to ask it to: how do I transfer all music from my iPod Video to my new computer?? Help please!! -
Sep 20, 2010 8:52 PM in response to Garzotby bandhens,We too have the same problem so any advice would be appreciated...our computer was stolen so we have no access to it and want to transfer music without spending hours putting iin CD after CD again. -

Sep 21, 2010 9:32 PM in response to tonka4xby sidewalkchamp,I never got an answer, no. I called Apple and was told they do not have products that can help. The service rep I spoke to said I'd have to use some kind of music ripper, which I found online just by using Google. However, they only have like 100 free song transfers before having to buy the product. I'm still lost still on this whole issue otherwise. -
Sep 22, 2010 2:29 PM in response to Garzotby cully68,had the same issue, you can go onto youtube and they have some videos on how to do it, I had tried it but pretty complicated, I found a program called touch copy 09 which cost $25.00,to me it is worth it, very easy to use and less aggrevating, it puts everything right onto your itunes. -
Sep 24, 2010 2:43 AM in response to Garzotby daretolive, same issue here. My hard drive died/burned up/went to PC ****...while I was in the process of trying to transfer the entire C drive to an external hard drive, and the dreaded clicking of death started, and yes, the hard drive is fried and will cost upwards of a grand to try to retrieve the data.
I was at Best Buy thursday, and there is a program to purchase that can transfer files from the ipod onto your computer and it costs 19.99. In my opinion, very worth it. It is unfortunate that with all the piracy that you are SOL with Apple as far as resurrecting this situation. This will mostly solve my problem, except for a few movies that I had unselected for syncing to my ipod because they were taking up too much memory, but being out a few movies and a cheap program, is a small price to pay, if I can get my 3500 tunes back. And, all of mine are from my personal CD's of old, or from legally purchased itunes.
If you stole your music from your buddies computer, or from CD's you checked out from your local library, quit complaining. -
Sep 25, 2010 2:08 PM in response to daretoliveby Janicek,You are very self riotous assuming that the music was stolen. -

Sep 27, 2010 11:46 AM in response to nita123by cully68,if you go to youtube there are many videos on how to do it but very lenghty and hard to remember everything,I paid $25.00 and downloaded a program called touch copy 09 and it did all the work, well worth the money.
