iCal imports then goes blank

My iCal was loaded with duplicate entries, so i removed them with dupe deleter and then tried to sync my MobileMe calendar to my mac. That's when the ical on my mac went blank. Now when i reimport my backed up ical data, the info shows up for about a second and then goes blank again. I've disabled syncing with mobile me, but the ical still goes blank shortly after importing. Any ideas
