Sep 7, 2010 9:14 PM in response to Nightriseby b noir,Interesting.
Are you up to date on your drivers?
If you're not sure, head to your HP drivers and downloads page:
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support_task.html
I'd check in particular for video/display and soundcard/integrated-audio drivers, but if you're behind on anything listed there that is relevant to your particular configuration, now might be a good time to stock up.
Any impact on the squeaks? -
Sep 10, 2010 2:10 PM in response to b noirby Nightrise,No, there's no impact of the squeaks other than them being extremely annoying. I am actually something of a technofile so all of my drivers have been up to date (I did just check now to be sure) so I remain thoroughly confused about the issue. -
