Remote app won't connect to itunes

Just last week my remote app was working just fine, but the other day it wouldn't connect to iTunes. I deleted my library from the phone, and tried to reconnect but nothing happened. I would entire the pin, but it wouldn't connect. I updated to iTunes 10, and tried again, but now the phone won't even show up so I can enter the pin. My firewall is disabled. I tried to forget all remotes, and reconnect, I know I'm on the correct network on both devices, and still nothing. I've really run out of ideas so PLEASE HELP!

Ive encountered the same problem.
Just got an AirPort Express, setup the wireless network, have the MacBook and iPhone connected to the wifi, have AirTunes playing over the stereo, have connected my iPhone to iTunes but CANNOT get the iPhone to recognize my library. ***!??!
Tried the support pages but everything that is suggested I have done. Only thing I can see is that the Router address is slightly different. The last digit in the 4 number code is different by 1, but I have no idea how to change it if that is if fact even a problem.
Any suggestions!???!

Yeah, so I've had this problem for a while now and eventually decided to call Apple on this. Actually, I was having this problem with another remote app. So I tried downloading Apple's Remote app thinking it would work. But, it was a no go. So I called doing so, while I was pretty sure it was an issue with my Mac. The error message referred me to an Apple article on network and disabling my firewall. I followed the instructions and nothing worked. So, I called the "Mac" section of applecare. They did not want to try anything for me. The wanted me to refer me to the "iPhone" section. But, the error message lead me to believe it was a Mac issue. So I got a case number and said forget it. I'll just go the Apple Store. Surely, they'll figure it out. But after being there an hour,... nothing. The "Genius" at least figured out that it was something with my Mac. The Remote app worked instantly with his computer. So, he said it must be a user error. Anyway... He had already wiped out all my info on my iPhone. So, now, he asked me, "Do you have your data backed up on this Mac?" At that point, I was like, forget it. It's not that important. He suggested while I was leaving to reinstall my operating system. I got too much stuff on it and a limited amount of time to do all that. He said it like it was something simple and quick. Anyway, I wasn't going to do all that.
So, I'm sitting at home racking my brain on something to try. I was going to call applecare back. But I decided to try to figure this out on my own. System test were done on my iPhone and Macbook. Everything checked out fine. Eventually, I thought maybe one of my wireless applications on my Mac may be causing a problem. I deleted one of them, but the same problem existed. Then as I was going through all the programs, I run across an anti-virus application called NetBarrier. So, I checked the settings on that. Needless to say, it had a firewall as well. I turned that off. Tried to connect again, and like magic, boom! All was solved. So, my suggestion is check to see if any other programs are interfering. Mine was NetBarrier. If you have any antivirus software installed, that may be the culprit.

Hi, I had this issue of iphone not finding library alongside Itunes not connecting to Airport Express due to upgrade to Itunes 10.
After trying different things including forget all remotes which did nothing helpful I:
uninstalled itunes, rebooted machine, turned firewall off and on again, reinstalled itunes - windows asked if I wanted unblock port, I did, that got round the Windows firewall blocking issue for itunes.
I then rebooted everything on the network including phone.
I reconnected my iphone by re- adding an itunes library on my iphone remote app - it asked me for a code again, I typed in the new 4 digit code into Itunes and it all works again.
It worked for me at least, I hope it helps. It's very annoying.
