Sep 8, 2010 11:09 AM in response to MoFLyby A. Richards,You need the Episode Pro plugin for Compressor. Anything less only does import (not export) for MXF. You should talk to Telestream though, since there are many different flavors of MXF and you will want to know that you can do what you need to do with that plugin before you drop a grand on it. -
Sep 13, 2010 11:22 PM in response to MoFLyby trezero, mxfactory works really well and can be integrated well into Final Cut Server. I recently deployed this to automatically generate mxf files for a bunch of dpx image sequences direct into an Avid unity where the editors could simply drag the files into their projects from the media tool as soon as the files were available. its a lot faster than any of the other tools we've tested so far. The price tag was a bit hefty though.

Sep 14, 2010 6:09 AM in response to trezeroby Andre Aulich,MXF4mac can be used in a Compressor cluster to export MXF files, it just doesn't show up in FCSvr, yet.
So the way to go with MXF4mac would be to trigger Compressor from FCSvr using Compressor's command line options.
