Are you able to download iOS 4.1?

iTunes keeps telling me my iOS 4.0.2 is up the current one. But MacSurfer and other news outlets are saying it's been released. I'm on the west coast, if that matters. (And so was Cupertino the last time I checked. Earthquakes not withstanding.)

Well I did the 'unplug then replug' thing and that didn't work, so I was about to do the download thing when I saw this at the bottom of the page:

"We have noticed errors on ipsw’s downloaded with a few download managers. Sop better use the normal browser based method to download from these iOS 4.1 direct links."

I've decided to be patient and do it thru iTunes later. (Gee, I think I know how the folks in other countries feel when we get something new from Apple and they have to wait days or months for it.)

Mine was showing no updates available too, but after I clicked the "Check for Updates" button (Summary tab), 4.1 appeared. It installed without a hitch and seems fine; maybe a bit more responsive.

Exactly the same for me - took about 4 mins to download.
1 new application on the main screen: Game Center.
