ok i just got the 5th gen ipod, i asked the apple store how do i convert a quicktime movie into itunes so that the ipod understands it, so i bought it, how do i convert it to itunes?!? please help!

I'm somewhat confused. Here's an article about exporting video to your iPod:

Keep in mind, that videos are huge files, and when exporting to your iPod, you will need to exercise some patience. It may appear to freeze, but just give it some time (I've read reports where it takes hours).
