How do I eliminate the double contacts I have on my 1st gen. iPod Touch?
I have no duplicates on my computer. It seems to happen during syncing.

I have had that before too. The easiest way for me was to uncheck syncing contacts so they were all removed, and then just resync them. Hopefully it won't happen again.

But if you're using MobileMe you might find [Resolving duplicates and removing all contacts/calendars/bookmarks with MobileMe|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3677] useful.

Hope that helps.
