Ipad Email Backup Solution/Application

I have recently bought an IPAD (64GB with 3G) and I am looking for an email backup program.

I have configured a pop3 email account (which is only for my Ipad, no other email clients connect to this account) and I would like to _back up all my contacts and email to my Windows 7 computer_ (all messages are being moved to Ipad, nothing kept on mail server).

iTunes support the email backup or not?

I am looking for an offline backup solution not like MobileMe.

Dear Nick101

Do you mean that i need to create the existing iPad account to Outlook, in order to download and backup my emails?

As i have already mentioned,my emails are being moved from the email server to iPad.
So, if i create the same account to Outlook, i will be able to backup only the new received emails.

Anything else to suggest??

Yes, Outlook nees to have the email account set up in it.

In Outlook and on the iPad, you want to have the accounst set up not to delete emails from the server.

If you have the option, IMAP is a better way to do this, since it syncs rather than simply copying. So you'd have a ful set of mails on the server, on your phone and on outlook

Nick101 thanks for your support and your express replies.

This is not the solution that covers my needs,
i will leave the thread open for future and alternative solutions.

I just want to backup my iPad emails (using a windows or iPad application) without the need of other mail client such as Outlook.
