Q: Can't enable VoiceOver

I received my new ipod shuffle this morning and I cannot enable the VoiceOver feature. I am able to check battery status and it will tell me I am listening to playlist 1 but it will not say track names, artist names, or play list names.

I'm using iTunes version 10.0.0.68 on Windows 7.

When I press accept after checking 'Enable VoiceOver' I get a notification that the VoiceOver kit is being installed then the VoiceOver box will once again be unchecked.

I've tried restoring the iPod, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

I'd really like to enable this feature, any help will be appreciated

VOICE OVER activated and de-activated by pressing Home button 3 times.  This applies to iPhone 4s

@Herculator Thanks, this solved my problem as well. Just like you said, the iPodVoiceOver.dll file had installed itself to the root directory of my C: drive. I was able to drag-and-drop it into the C:\Program Files\iTunes folder, after which I could successfully enable VoiceOver on the Summary tab in iTunes for my iPod Shuffle.

I likewise run 64-bit Windows 7 and have my iTunes library on an external harddrive, so perhaps this is the common thread for those of us experiencing this bug.
