iPod Touch 4G cannot connect to Jawbone headset

I have a new iPod Touch 4G.

Jawbone wasn't found by the iPod Touch, but it was visible to an iPhone 4. Decided to see if Apple crippled it by leaving out the Bluetooth profile for handsfree.

I just researched and found the bluetooth profile chart - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647

Sure enough, they left out the profile so it won't work.

There is some potentially contradictory info in the iPod Touch 4G manual.

On page 40:

"Pair a bluetooth headset, car kit, or other bluetooth device with iPod touch"

Does anyone think that Apple will add this profile? The restriction is unnecessary.
