I don't use Windows, so I'm not sure what features the screen capture utility has. But you can probably mimic the behaviour by just making a screen shot (by pressing the home and power button at the same time), and downloading an app to crop the resulting image.
I haven't used any image utilities on the iPad, but for cropping on my iPhone, I use CropForFree.
screen capture could mean either static picture of the "desktop" or video capture. There is no "Screen Capture" program included with Windows that I know of, just the Print Screen button on the keyboard. The previous posters solution works for static pictures of the screen.
Video capture (what most of the "screen capture" third party software I am thinking of do) is not doable right now on ipad.
I refer the 'screen capture' in iPad. Sometimes, we see great pics or article in app program/magazine/news. Not sure if we can capture the screen shot and save it in photo library in iPad for record, like clipboard in PC application.
Hold the "Home button and the "on off button at the sane time for half a sec,. You will see the screen flash here the cam noise then it gets saved to your camera roll,. That is if u are refering to a "screen shot" this works on iPhones iPods and iPad etc
