3 displays mirror 2 extend with other

Ihave an iMac with a cinema display hooked up. I just got air display for my iPad and was looking to have all three running. My idea was to mirror my main display on my iPad and have the 3rd display as an extension. How could I do that? Thanks

iMac 27in quad i7 8gb, Mac OS X (10.6.4), 23in Apple Cinema Display

If all three displays show up in "Displays" system preference, click the "?" at the bottom-right in the "Arrangement" tab for instructions on mirroring just two of the three displays.

Any way to make it so the resolutions stay what they should be instead of reflecting each other? Because my main display looks bad when it conforms to the iPad resolution. Thanks

Mirroring is a dot-to-dot copy, si if the resolutions are different, it can't use the full area of both screens.
