Hi,

I would like some advice what is wrong with my brand new iPhone 4?
Under settings/carrier the phone finds no networks?
The phone is activated i itunes with confirmation on the phone.

I tried to restore twice, airplane mode on/off uncountable number of times, restart 50+ times for four days nut still get the message "no service" and no carries found
The phone runs the latest iOS 4.1

Anyone who knows whats wrong or had the same problem?
iPhone4, iMac 24, iOS 4

    Have you contacted the company you're paying for cell service?

    Stop being so melodramatic. How old is the phone? In England, (not sure about down under), you have a period during which you can get a refund and the contract cancelled. SO if the option is available, just do that and either;
    a) Get another i4.
    b Choose another phone from a different manufacturer.
    c) Come on here and whine and not solve your problem.

    If the SIM works in another phone it is probably a hardware problem. However, check with the carrier to make sure your account is provisioned correctly for the iPhone. There are some different settings required for the iPhone on some networks.
