iPhone Registration

Hello. I've bought an pre-owned iPhone 3GS 32GB Factory Unlocked. I want to know how I can change the name the iPhone is registered to. When you buy a new Apple Product and connect it to your PC you can enter your name and adress to register this data with your device. How can I change this information of an pre-owned device?
Thank you

For warranty purposes, there's no need - the registration is irrelevant anyway. What you need is the original proof of purchase, ideally from the seller. Assuming you know the country in which the phone was bought originally, enter the serial number here:

If you're trying to transfer AppleCare, the original owner needs to contact AppleCare to perform the transfer - the buyer cannot.

Mhh i haven't got an proof of purchase.. The device was bought in Italy and theres warranty left until 12/10.. Then i want to purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan..
The seller said me that i just have to call Apple and they will change the registration to my name. And a friend of me said that i just can bring my device to the local Apple Reseller and that I don't need a proof of purchase 😟
