Copying a Site WebPage Using The IPad?

Is there a way to copy a page from a website using the IPad? I can't figure it out. I'm trying to go to my website and want to copy one of the pages there to send to someone, but when I put my finger on the page I don't get the usual "copy, paste, select all, select," I get nothing. Is there a way to do this?

I don't think it's possible to do it in that way although I could be mistaken as I've not tried it myself. The iPad is pretty limited when it comes to that sort of functionality. There are apps in the App store that allow you to save web pages. One of the more popular ones is Instapaper. Whether they allow you to send them via email I am not sure. Is it not possible for you to send a link to that web page and let the recipient open it up ?

Thanks for this. Yes, it is possible always to send a link, but in this case I wanted to send the image on the page and I'm not in my studio so I can't access the image to email. I only have the image on the website and only have my IPad for the internet. I will check out the app you suggested. If you know of any where I could send an email too that would be great.

Place you finger on the image in the web page and a popup window will appear. You can either save the image or copy it.

When saving the image is saved in the iPad photo app, you can email the image from the app.

If you choose to copy the image, copy---> Open email app---> place your finger on the body of the email---> Paste...send email.

I tried that before writing here and it doesn't work. Nothing comes up. So I can't copy and paste.

Okay, I was able to copy the image on the page by touching outside the image and then the options came up, but the Save option didn't--just copy, select, select all. Then I could not paste the page/image into either earthlink.net or gmail.com and since I couldn't save the page I was unable to open it in the Photo app. Any other suggestions?

There are apps like iSaveWebLite that a low you to copy an entire webpage for off-line viewing.

It's an artist website with a home page and then year categories. I'm trying to copy one page from 2010, one painting to send to someone. Can't seem to do this. I don't want the home page I want this particular painting to copy and email.

Any ideas?

This app doesn't seem to allow me to copy just one page and that's what I need to do. I don't want the home page I want one page on the site.

You should be able to take a screenshot of the page and then e mail it.

Thanks. I tried this twice, but it didn't work. The screen just goes black and doesn't take a screen shot, but rather reboots.

I just tried iSaveWebLite on an Apple website page. It only copied the the one page. When I viewed that page in the iSaveWebLite app it viewed fine and when I touched a link on that page it said it could not display that page since it was not saved.

So, are you saying that it doesn't work? all I can copy is the homepage, not individual pages on the site.

For a screen shot just click the home and sleep button, don't hold them down. If you hold them down the iPad will reboot.

The images maybe CSS background image. If so you can't copy them. Can you post the URL?

I am confused with what you are saying. I saved one web page with IsaveWebLite and was able to view it the iSaveWebLite app. Now I just s\went back to the original page in that I saved and clicked on and went to a sub-page on that page. I then saved that sub-page in iSaveWebLite and was able to view it as a separate page in the iSaveWebLite app.
