IOS 4.1 Ihome Issue

Ever since I updated my Iphone 4 to IOS 4.1, my Ihome alarm clock will no longer play music from my phone. It gives a message saying "this accessory is not optimized for this iphone." It had been working perfectly with IOS 4.01 and 4.02, but now it only charges my phone. Anyone else having problems playing music through their Ihome speakers with the new software release?

Uh, unfortunately I have the same problem...

iPhone 3G, ios 4.1: "this accessory is not optimized for this iphone."
iPod touch, ios 4.1: "This accessory is not supported by iPod Touch"

-> Means that my iHome isn´t working any longer with both of my devices.

My alarm clock is playing only the ugly ring in the morning which causes every time a ealy heart attack. And also when I want to fall asleep with my audiobook playing the sleep mode isn´t working any longer. During nighttime I wake up because the audiobook is still plaing after some hours.

This is really awkward! The iHome was expensive (before ios 4.1 and the following troubles it was really worth the money!).

I hope Apple will solve this problem soon! Or does anyone else found a option to solve the problem?
