Question

Bonjour not working

Bonjour not working!I have 5 Mac´s - for some reason one of them cant´ connect to the others via my home network...

Anyone? They are set up 110% the same way...

MacPro1,1 Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2.66 GHz, Mac OS X (10.6.4), iPhone 3G - 4.0.1

Are they all in the same subnet? Do they have System
Preferences->Sharing, file sharing turned on?

How many routers and WiFi base stations do you have?

Each WiFi base station by default is going to be yet another router unless you disable its routing functions.

Bonjour will NOT cross a router boundary.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for doing this.

I have two stations. One as a base, the other as an extension of the base. All my laptop´s is working fine on this setup, but my MacPro just wont show up.

Problem solved:

Like this: ~/library/Preferences/ - Locate com.apple.sidebarlists.plist and delete it.

Logout and login again.

Bingo!
