Any way to archive SMS for compliance

It's been some time that the iPhone has been out and the Config utility and Lotus Notes Traveler have helped bring the iPhone into the Company (a bank). However, we had to turn off the ability to SMS, because we can't record it for compliance and regulatory reasons.

There must be a utility or vendor that has addressed this by now. Anyone have or know anything that can record SMS? The spystick is out of the question. Preferably an over the air solution.

Thanks!

PhoneView archives, updating automatically when the phone is plugged in, but is Mac only. TouchCopy is very similar for many tasks (not sure about this one), Windows and Mac. Missing Sync for iPhone is another to check (Windows and Mac)--they've long been focused on business use.

The text messages can also be extracted from the backup files--eg http://decipher-media.com/decipher-text-message/ --there are a LOT of backup extractor utilities and that might be a tool your company could contract to customize.

We are currently working with Apple to provide a solution NOT ON jail-broken phones for compliance purposes.

Presently, we are not able to access the iPhone SMS.db database file that stores all SMS's and Apple does not allow both this and the app to know when an SMS is received in order to capture / record it and forward to our server for archiving.

We will continue to work with Apple to address this and hope that they understand the urgent need for a solution to archive and monitor SMS messages on the iPhone.

Thank you,
