My iPad has been working well until last month. All of a sudden the screen just went black. I can see the faint backlight when I press the home button. It makes the "charging noise" when it's plugged in. I know it's working and charged, it's just that the screen show the stuff when I press On button "flash" and goes black again. I have tried resetting and restore from Itunes without success. Is there a fix for this problem or do I need to exchange the ipad? I´m unable to go to US, can I exchange it at an apple store in another country? I´m from Brazil.

Thanks

HI and welcome to Apple Discussions...

can I exchange it at an apple store in another country? I´m from Brazil.

You would need to contact Apple for information for an exchange here.

Just in case, you may have an app that needs a "force quit". Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPad for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then press and hold the Home button until the application quits.

Hi there, I am wondering if you could solve your issue with your iPad since I am having the same problem and I also live in Brazil and can't send it to service support...
    Thanks in advance.
