Is it possible to record video at lower-than-HD resolutions?

Hi:

I would like to record school lectures using my iPhone. These can run 2 hours (sometimes more), and a little testing has led me to believe that this would create a file of about 10GB. Given that I have a 16GB iPhone, I was hoping to find a way to reduce either the resolution or (even better) the framerate of the video; quality is not essential.

cant do it however if you want just the audio you could use voice recorder and that would save some space

Yeah, video is nice because you can get slides that the professor is projecting, as well. Thanks, though.

Try using the front facing camera. It has a lower resolution.

The 3rd party app "Almost DSLR" will let you do that

lol.
reversing the camera only works if you like movies of yourself. sure you can point it away, but this method only works if you don't mind not seeing what you're recording. The app DSLR can reset the video resolution
